Underwater Photography and Video
Our main aim is to give you an insight into the underwater world through an assortment of underwater Photographs and Video Clips and DVDs. To see these images now, please click to see the Photo Galleries or the Video Hall.
It might be cliche but, while approximately 70% of our world is covered with water, we still know more about outer space than our oceans. However, with the increased popularity of Scuba Diving as an adventure sport and the advances being made in the realms of Technical Diving and Rebreathers, we are quickly learning about the wonders that our waters have to offer.
Underwater Imaging is now becoming much more accessible to the masses also. Basic camera set-ups can be purchased from just a couple hundred pounds for a point and shoot camera in waterproof housing. If you are more enthusiastic, there are more advanced rigs with extra lenses (wide angle, macro, fish eye, super wide) strobes and video lights, focusing lights, light weight frames to mount the kit. You can go SLR if you wish or underwater video camera set-ups in HD are also available. While we will try to show you many of the amazing colours, fish life and wrecks that you can find, the best way to see the underwater world is to venture down there yourself and where better to learn to Scuba Dive than the balmy waters of the Mediterannean.

Learn to Scuba Dive
Deep Inspirations are based in the Eastern Med on the Island of Cyprus. To learn Scuba Diving here is extremely easy and exciting as from your first breaths underwater you will be swimming with the local fish life.

Learning to dive is not as expensive as you might think it would be. You can try a half day diving adventure for just €55 with great group discounts available and, of course, the option for a disc of underwater photos and video clips of your diving experiences in Cyprus. Once you have tried it, you will be hooked and it won't be long until you are diving on the Zenobia Shipwreck and all over the world. |
