Green Bay

Green Bay is the most popular dive site to visit on the south east coast of Cyprus. Dive centres from as far away as Limassol bring their students safari dives. With pool like conditions, it is perfect for all levels of diver and any training dives for the scuba diving courses.
The entry point for the Bay is a gentle slope that you simply walk into. The sea bed then just gradually slopes away to about three and a half metres as you swim out towards ‘fish rock’.
At Fish Rock, you will notice hundreds of sea bream and damsel fish will swim over as fast as they can to greet you and say hello. If you bang a small rock on the top of fish rock, even more fish will arrive. For the past two years, we have had a resident school of Barracuda living in Green Bay and these can often be found at fish rock also.

Amphora
As we continue down the slope, we reach the 6 metre mark where you can see clumps of Amphora Pottery scattered around. Pieces of history just waiting to be discovered by our Cyprus divers. As we swim along, keep your eyes peeled for Octopus, Moray Eels and even the occasional turtle.

Statues at
10 metres
Finally as we drop off the final set of rocks, we will found the newly sank statues, placed especially for divers. Pose on the podiums and have pictures taken with the women down at 10 metres. This is the maximum depth of the site.
Visibility can reach up to 40 metres in the summer months at Green Bay and the temperature varies from 17 to 30 degrees, making this a very pleasant dive indeed
